A modest madrassah with a mosque, cemetery and wonderfully curved minaret complete the ensemble built by Allah Kuli Khan in honour of his sister, Bikajanbeka. The cemetery contains several fine examples of tombs including the flagged resting-place of Sheikh Kalander Bobo, a sixteenth century 'dervish' (wandering Sufi pilgrim).
Today the complex is used as a registry office, boasting the optimistic title, 'House of Happiness'. However its history has not always been so positive - during the Second World War the buildings served as an army barracks and supplies base.
