This modest looking building was part of a complex of other smaller madrassahs and religious institutions. The korikhona, or workroom was a guesthouse for Koran readers and later was also an alms house for the blind. Today, when open, it contains a rickety upright piano and music information and mockups of what a madrassah cell might have looked like.
